HEY HEY EVERYBODY

When i first heard of this book I thought it might of had something to do with the recent animated shorts the way book 2 was based on the animated shorts that was included with the Rainbow Rocks DVD. To my surprise it was a completely original Equestria Girls story done the way fans hope the rumored TV series would be. In this book Sunset Shimmer is trying to learn this secret to the girls pony up magic at Canterlot High. With Twilight Sparkle only answering Sunset's letters with her advice from back in Equestria Sunset attempt at learning magic cause nothing but one disaster after another as they get ready for their fashion show to raise money for new school uniforms. Not to mention the other students still not trusting any project that Sunset Shimmer is involved with due to her past rep.

The best MLP thing I've ever seen.

This book is the Equestria Girls story we needed. Just a simple story expanding on the greatest character to ever come from the franchise, Sunset Shimmer. It's nice to have a story that follows her completely. Especially after her bizarre absence in the second book, and the shorts it was based on.
It's a shame this doesn't have an animated version, though. I'd love to see this as a special or something.

The book is great at expanding on the world the movies presented to us, and giving us a deeper insight into the Character of Sunset Shimmer, and her relationship with the other characters, not to mention developing her into a unique character in her own right, worthy of standing besides the other Mane Six and the (formerly Unseen) Seventh.

Perfection

My only complaint is that I wish it were longer!

Almost every page somehow related to my life and offered comfort. This book will be kept on hand for when I need reminders to help me pick up and keep moving.

I first found Bianca Sparacino reading a poem on video via Thought Catalog. This is the first audiobook I’ve heard and/or purchased. I took a chance on the narration instead of physically reading a book because the poet’s video displayed a pleasing voice. I do not think a review would do justice without quotations from her poetry. Here are a few:

“I am willing to trust”

“You were made to endure”

“But rather, we love because we have someone’s else blood within our veins.”

“Do not hide your wounds.”

“I’m writing this to say I’m sorry. I’m poison the I love, so this is my confession.”

“May you dip your wings in ink so that your words fall from the sky…”

“Promise me you won’t run back to what cracked you…”

“Take your life back from any negativity within it.”

“Let that girl know she inspires you.”

Each of Bianca’s poems arrives in this book as life reminders; the most truthful and questionable thoughts we all have within us, deep in the brain and/or heart. Furthermore, Bianca encourages us to have patience in life and
“wait for it.” Whatever you truly feel you deserve, “wait for it.”

(On a side note, when Bianca exclaims “my God,” it is quite charming.)

Lastly, this poet leaves us to

“focus on the beauty,”

and turn love into an openness for a soulmate “that does exist.”

I bought four of these for my children and they were nicer than I expected

I heard on KLove radio that someone had created a list of God's promises for their daughter and it inspired me to search for a pre-designed set...I found these on Amazon and ordered right before Christmas...they arrived early (in time for Christmas) and it great shape...the acrylic box is thick and sturdy and the design is etched perfectly...the hinge is also very sturdy...the cards not only offer God's promises, they also offer prayer and meditation ideas on the reverse side...I am very happy with the quality of the cards, the box and the content messages.
